Large Action Models (LAM)

Large Action Models (LAM) represent a shift from purely conversational AI to agents capable of executing complex sequences of actions on external software and platforms. Unlike traditional LLMs, which focus on predicting the next token, LAMs are trained to predict and execute the sequence of human-computer interaction steps necessary to achieve a high-level goal, such as booking a flight or managing an entire enterprise workflow.
